ABOUT THE SYMPOSIUM
We know there is an inequality in food distribution, with negative effects for developing countries, but how can we make a difference to help? Nutrition is a right to have, but what if the there is lacking of knowledge or the resources?
UNICEF’s project aims to educate Burundian mothers about endangered nutrition and how to share this knowledge with other mothers. These Mamans Lumière organize classes for locals on how to prepare balanced meals with their locally available foods.
UNICEF student team Delft will organize a symposium around the theme Lumière. There will be fun activities and lectures given by inspiring and driven speakers to inform students about the importance of nutrition.
